Marko Brandon

About Artist
Marko Brandon creates within the overlap of science and art. While X-ray technology is traditionally reserved for the human body, Marko repurposes it for the purpose of artistic exploration: His ghostly X-rays of European master paintings, Buddhist icons, and Byzantine devotional objects urge the viewer to descend through layers of a piece’s history.

Greek-American and self-taught, Marko derives inspiration from Greek mythology and design. He currently resides in Atlanta and Miami and has exhibited his work at Fay Gold Gallery, Besharat Gallery, and Millennium Gate Museum in Atlanta.
